A message from the General Co-Chairs

We would like to welcome all participants to Volos, to engage in the exchange of ideas about many exciting developments in communication networks and information theory.  Your participation forms the core value of the workshop, and we appreciate it. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the hard working members of the organizing committee. An amazing amount of work goes into producing a quality workshop. The TPC committee, led by Venkat Anantharam and Ioannis Kontoyiannis, has produced an excellent program.  The local arrangement committee, composed of Iordanis Koutsopoulos, Paris Flegkas, and Dimitris Zisiadis, has worked hard to insure an enjoyable and productive visit by all participants. Finance chair Thanasis Korakis is managing our finances in a time of financial uncertainty with dexterity. The web-publicity committee, with members George Pashos, Vasilis Sourlas, and Antonis Tzounis, has made sure that the workshop is well publicized, from the website to the posters, and has made sure the website is well organized. Publications chair Stavros Toumpis has worked diligently to ensure that the conference publications are complete, attractive, and accurate.

A message from the Technical Program Co-Chairs

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the organizers of the invited sessions for developing an outstanding slate of invited presentations and to all members of the technical program committee and the reviewers for their evaluation of the submitted papers.  We would also like to thank Lance Cotton of Conference Management services for producing the printed matter. The authors of papers to be presented at the workshop are to be commended for their excellent contributions. We would like to encourage all members of the communication networks and information theory communities to participate in the workshop. Finally, we would like to thank the conference co-chairs, Bruce Hajek and Leandros Tassiulas for their excellent oversight of the program and Vasilis Sourlas for his invaluable help in managing the review process through EDAS conference services.
