Mountain Pilion Villages Day Tour (price: 30$):

Pilion, the mountain of the Centaurs, was chosen by the twelve gods of Olympus as a summer residence. Today, thousands of tourists choose to explore it all year.

The twenty-four archetypal villages adorn the slopes of Pilion. They are built on a densely-forested region covered with a variety of flora, with abundant waters springing up everywhere.

The mountain is synonymous to days of rest and entertainment. All forms of alternative tourism are available: horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, mountain climbing, swimming, diving, sailing and fishing.

During our journey we will visit some of the twenty four villages, walk on their cobbled streets, swim on their crystal blue waters and delight the local foods.

Visit Meteora (Monasteries) – Kalampaka (price 40$)

The Meteora (in Greek means "suspended rocks", "suspended in the air" or "in the heavens above") is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece, second only to Mount Athos. The nearest town is Kalambaka, Greece.

The monasteries are built on natural sandstone rock pillars, at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Peneios River and Pindus Mountains, in central Greece. The Meteora is home to six monasteries and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

During our journey we will visit a couple of those monasteries. We will also visit for lunch the town of Kalambaka and if there is still time we will visit the town of Trikala.

Pagasitikos Gulf Day Cruise (price 40$)

The Pagasitikos gulf is like a nature’s embrace, enclosed between the Pelion peninsula and the mainland. It is sixteen miles across and leaves an open escape to the Aegean Sea by means of a one mile wide passage called Trikeri.

All along the coast, a string of villages, beaches, coves, rocks and limpid blue sea have surely been created solely for the visitor’s better pleasure wanting to enjoy the benefits of this mild gulf.

The cruise will start from the port of Volos and we will have the chance to visit the small islands of the gulf. We will swim in the crystal clear waters and we will delight the local drinks (“tsipouro”) and the local seafood.
