Visa
Greece is a country belonging to the European Union and a member of the Schengen Agreement . With a Schengen visa, you may enter one country and travel freely throughout the Schengen region during the validity of the visa. In the Schengen Office , you can obtain information regarding the countries that need a visa to enter a Schengen country. If you are a citizen of a country not belonging to the European Union and to the Schengen Agreement, you are advised to contact a Greek embassy or consulate, where you can request further information. Travel
How to reach Volos:
There are three alternatives to reach Volos.
1. Arrive at Athens airport, take X93 local bus to Liosion station. Then take the coach to Volos (operates from 07:00 to 22:00). Alternatively you can use trains, but you have to travel through Larisa.
2. Arrive at Thessaloniki airport, take N78 local bus to the train station. Then take the train to Larisa and switch trains to Volos.
3. Arrive at Volos (Nea Agchialos) airport (VOL) and take the local bus.

A bus will be available for the participants of the workshop. in the following dates, times and locations:
1. From the airport in Athens to Volos, on Tuesday, June 9th, 3:00 in the evening.
2. From Volos to the airport in Athens, on Saturday, June 13th, 5:30 in the morning.
The trip time for the Athens-Volos, Volos-Athens journey is approximately 3 hours (320km).
